Joel has over 15 years of experience leading Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Communications teams within Ontario’s health care system and the not-for-profit sector. Joel has led HR, OD and Communications teams in Hospital, Long-term Care, and Community sectors, with a focus on leadership development, change management, employee engagement, strategy and culture development. Joel is also a certified executive coach and holds certifications in facilitation and alternative dispute resolution. In his current role as the Interim Vice President at Home & Community Care Support Services Toronto Central, Joel is leading the people practices and is dedicated to supporting an engaged and healthy workforce.

Joel is excited about his work in diversity and inclusion, along with the spread of a coaching culture in healthcare organizations, and here are three takeaways:
